Aberdeen Council Candidate Targeted

A business owner and candidate for the Aberdeen City Council is being targeted by vandals. The vandalism moved from campaign signs to her business.

Business owner, Debi Pieraccini who owns and manages a hair salon in Aberdeen decided to run for the Aberdeen City Council in hopes of bringing a business perspective to the city council.

This hardworking mom and grandmother is not only contributing to the city as a business owner and taxpayer but she volunteers her own time at cleanups around the city.

The political arena can be an unfriendly place for any person to engage in. The differences we hold about life, liberty, religion, our principles and philosophies can vary greatly from person to person.

It is unfortunate when candidate signs of any political affiliation are vandalized. Property destruction is not only unethical, it is criminal and un-American.

Debi Pieraccini has seen many of her signs vandalized throughout the campaign. Recently, the vandals began targeting Debi's business. The windows in her business were plastered with defamatory stickers and her business signs were spray painted. The Aberdeen Police Department was notified, hopefully they get a lead and justice will be served.

Debi Pieraccini is seeking the Ward 5, Position 10 on the Aberdeen City Council.
