Business Owner to Run for Aberdeen City Council

Debi Pieraccini was raised in Hoquiam, graduated from Hoquiam High School, and attended Grays Harbor College studying Criminal Justice. She’s been a hairstylist for over 30 years and owns and operates a hair salon in Aberdeen.

She is part of a local group that focuses on cleaning up Aberdeen both on the streets and park areas and whose goal is to help make Aberdeen a community that is safe and inviting.

She is passionate about family and loves being a resident of Grays Harbor. She has one adult son and one adult bonus daughter as well as 4 grandchildren.

I would like to serve Aberdeen as the voice for the working-class people at the same time realizing that we need to reflect the voices of all residents, not just one sector.

I want to promote our local economy as well as to work on tax relief for an already overburdened population. I’m a firm believer that we need to work to try to get our city back to the basics.

I am a strong advocate for transparency within government and will work hard to make sure that nobody feels excluded from the process and to serve as a bridge for those who feel they have no voice in our community.

I would like to see stronger support for our local police and our justice system. I want to help to ensure a safe community that improves the quality of life for all of our residents.

Debi Pieraccini is seeking the Ward 5, Position 10 on the Aberdeen City Council.
