Experience in Rollin Caryl: Montesano City Council
My name is Rollin Caryl. I was born in Omak, WA and I am the oldest of 10 Children. My Father was a forester/fire control manager for the Department of Natural Resources.
Both my parents were very active in community as I was growing up. I have worked to continue that mind set!
My wife and I have Three Daughters, 8 grand children and 1 great grandson! During my time in public service, I have been instrumental in bringing the highest quality services to the communities that I served. This has included direct involvement in bringing initial 911 services to three small rural communities! If elected, I will strive to continue that goal. Often as I have served in different positions of public trust, I have been the lone voice for compliance with such things as “Open meeting” laws and the Americans With Disabilities Act. I am very firm in my desire to assure that everyone has access to our governmental processes and that their voices can be heard! There are and will be difficult decision to be made. Making the right decisions does and will require effort outside of the council chambers.
